How Can HAVEN Help?

HAVEN provides the following services to families and friends affected by Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

• 24-Hour Crisis Line - 536-1300 Call day or night (collect, if needed) for information and support.

• Emergency Transportation We’ll arrange for emergency transportation to a safe place.

• Shelter Home Emergency housing for abused victims with 24-hour accessibility.

• Advocacy for Domestic & Sexual Abuse Through advocacy we encourage self-reliance. We provide assistance with obtaining restraining orders, employment, education, housing, medical services, financial services, other legal aid and counseling for victims.

• Domestic Abuse
• Sexual Assault
• Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
• Children’s Group
• Young Parents Group
• Teen Support Group

• Referral & Follow-up Services Provide information/referral to community services.

• Community Education Inservice presentations to civic and/or service organizations. Public speaking, videos, etc.

All services are provided free of charge without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation or ability.

The following services are provided for a fee:

• Batterer’s Treatment 26 week program focused on behavior change for the abuser.

• Anger Management 15 week program

• Women Who Use Force 16 week program
